What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
i learned to rely on myself and become more comfortable with being on my own. i had to travel on my own, i had to make my own food, and i had to live on my own. this experience gave me the confidence to depend on myself.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? It's going to be much harder than people actually imagine it being, and they should prepared for it. You're truly on your own, even when you do find a support system in your program. You're leaving you're entire life behind it's going to be difficult at times. But in the end it's worth it.
