(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? I would definitely suggest saving up before going abroad - the sooner you start saving, the better. I ended up traveling around New Zealand a lot more than I had expected to, so the expenses for that were not anticipated.
