Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Hanyang was amazing, I loved the campus and people they were so kind and helpful.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

The program was awesome, sometimes they were not so flexible with the dorm situations but that is very minor.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

The location was very safe, the rooms were a little small, but I was able to adapt and it was fine.

* Food:

Great food on campus, or off, very close by.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Beyond the Border was provided, i was unable to go, but i heard it was really fun.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

Hanyang has many medical offices where you can get treatment, and usually there is a person who can speak English there. The area is also very safe, I always felt comfortable going out at anytime of day or night.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? about 100 dollars on food, and luxuries and play time.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Be careful to learn how to bargain so you are not overpaying for things like clothes.
