I learned that there are a lot of better places to volunteer in Guizhou. Many Schools need your help, and this School doesn't really care about you, just that you are a foreigner that can smile for pictures when the press comes. - University of East London View Entire Review
You get to see a part of China that is highly overlooked. It really puts everything in life into perspective. You meet amazing people and you get to go outside of your comfort zones to really learn who you are as a person. - Pepperdine University View Entire Review
Yes, great way to gain intimate experience and knowledge of the culture to make you really feel that you are there to make a contribution. Loved the family-like care and very helpful support from the community members. - Johns Hopkins University View Entire Review
I was able to see a part of the world that is completely different from where I come from. Being able to see and take part in the amazing culture of this part of China made the trip worthwhile in itself. On top of that, I gained teaching skills, and was able to take Chinese language and culture classes from some great teachers. - California State University - Humboldt State University View Entire Review
