What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned how to go with the flow. Sometimes the best experiences are not planned. I also learned a lot about different cultures. I had limited experience in other countries than the U.S. so I was able to learn a lot from my international friends. I think this experience was worthwhile. Everyone should experience a culture different from their own to gain a different perspective on the world.

I got to experience places and things that many students don't get to when studying at their home university. I met students from around the world and got to experience new places with them. The best part was that direct enrollment allowed for an easy transition financially between my home and host universities since the tuition was the same.
