Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

I learned a fantastic amount of German, mainly through practice both in and outside of class. Instruction is perhaps less formal than I am used to but it was very happy with the experience.

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Lived outside of Berlin in a friends apartment who was out of town. Helped me meet many locals who were very friendly and outgoing.

Completely safe, went all over never felt threatened in the slightest

Many people spoke English very well but German was used in everyday parlance which contributed massively to the learning outcomes
