Very worthwhile. I learned so much about my area of study, and also about living and traveling on my own, far away from home

Max is so helpful, and it is so great to have professors at the school that are really invested in you

I was cooking for myself so this one is tough to answer

I made friends with college students from NZ, but the majority of my friends were American

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

I didn't have any

Seemed very safe. Only nervous about earthquakes!

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Very organized, met great people

Food is more expensive than the US. Gas is almost $9 a gallon which can make travel expensive

The wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal.

Comments: Definitely challenging. Took advantage of location in terms of examples used in class, but now with field trips. Class was challenging though and comparable to class at Middlebury
