What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Learned a lot of engineering, which is why I did the program in the first place. The Thayer School of Engineering has amazing facilites, great people working there as well as students. The program was definitely worth while.

I just had to move a lot. It's a drawback of the quarter system, worth it in exchange for the flexibility it provides. |

The frat scene was new to me, coming from a school with no greek life. The social scene is very different but the people were very inviting. |

| * What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | That it isn't difficult to assimilate socially as I thought would be. It is a lot easier though, to start during summer term. Benefits are that you get to adjust to a new campus when there is only a fourth of the students on campus. Summer in New Hampshire is beautiful, the Connecticut river is really close! Also, then you get a 6 month summer break. |
