What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
The best part about the experience was meeting new people with different backgrounds, I gained a new appreciation for the decisions other's make when I understand the surroundings that influenced them.

I had no healthcare issues so I cannot rate or comment.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Food was definitely pretty reasonably priced and transportation was easy to use. However housing on campus was far to expensive for the average student.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? If it's plausible, find housing off campus.

I was in the beginner's class but our teacher was very good at helping us understand how and in what situation to speak the local language.
