I learned how to be independent and a lot about myself that I believe staying in my comfort zone at Middlebury wouldn't have given me. A student - Middlebury College View Entire Review
100% worthwhile. Learned so much about the culture and people. I always considered myself an independent person, but I think Seoul gave me an independence I didn't know existed. I am not hesitate to travel anywhere in the world. I made fantastic friends who I plan to visit later this year. Seeing how a different culture lives sh... This was honestly a dream come true. I have always wanted to go to Korea, and through this trip I accomplished so many dreams that I never thought would one day come true. I also learned a lot about myself, and that I am stronger than I was before I left. It also made me treasure what I have back at home as well. Korea will fore... my grasp for my own benefits and country as an american, has been expanded in so many ways. Culture, religion, life, experience, language, everything. I am much stronger and have grown immensely since having gone and come back from Seoul. Joseph J - Trinity University View Entire Review
I plan to work in Korea in the future, so it was great to really live there for an extended period to get used to regular life, school, work etc. My Korean skills improved a lot and my general skills at managing life on my own also improved. I am confident I can manage myself living in a foreign country, and I feel prepared to l... Kelsey W - Wellesley College View Entire Review
Yes. I have learned about myself. I think I became a better person than I came. I have gained somewhat patience and understanding. I am more open to different cultures and also about learning them. Pearl Y - University of Hawaii - Manoa View Entire Review
A great trip for those wanting to get out of the country to meet life long friends. Jake B - University of Hawaii - Manoa View Entire Review
I have nothing to say other than I wish I could equally allocate time to both my Biochemistry major and my Asian studies minor. It was a life-changing experience. Lisa P - DePauw University View Entire Review
It was amazing! You gain lots of insight into both your culture and the culture of Korea. You get to do all these amazing things and you meet some really cool people from America and abroad. And the cost of living is really cheap. Shayna Y - University of Hawaii - Manoa View Entire Review
I'm glad I went on this international exchange. It was an amazing experience. It was just really good to have gone to a different university in a different country. And Ewha is one of the best schools in Korea. I postponed my spring graduation to the summer so I could go on this exchange and I'm very glad I did. It's a very diff... Learned so much about other countries in general, different mind set, so much fun, I would go with Yonsei instead of Ewha however. DEFINITELY choose Yonsei instead if you can. Anna C - Trinity University View Entire Review

My time abroad was definitely worthwhile. I gained many new friends, discovered a whole new country and culture, discovered a delicious new cuisine, became more independent and confident, proved myself that I can thrive outside of my comfort zone, proved to myself that I can live in a completely different culture / country, broa... joanna.poget - Wellesley College View Entire Review
I learned a lot of about Korea and a lot about myself. Living abroad in a different country forces one to learn and adapt. Juan Jose M - Trinity University View Entire Review
Overall, I wanted to learn something about myself, but afterward, I learned that I already do. I know who I am, but I don't know what to do with me... I think my experience helped me realize that I need to find a goal that is less broad and try to work towards. RLeanne M - University of Hawaii - Manoa View Entire Review
Yes! I've learned so much and I got to experience a lot of things! Anna K - DePauw University View Entire Review

This program made me fall in love with South Korea and its people. After I graduate, I'd like to live here for the rest of my life. :) Jolene K - University of Hawaii - Manoa View Entire Review
The experience in Korea was an eye opener for me because Seoul was a whole another world from Japan or Hawaii. Not being able to speak the language made my life difficult at times but those moments were important for me as a student. Seeing Korean culture and spending time with Korean people was definitely one of the most extrao... nyika t - University of Hawaii - Manoa View Entire Review
