Courses are generally very easy and professors are nice. |

Communication is definitely an issue internally and externally. |

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
The living arrangements are better than expected. However, due to a communal kitchen, people tend to not clean up their own pans, dishes, etc. |

It is hard to find good food (Chinese, Japanese, etc) other than German food. |

How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
This program fails to integrate you with German culture and leaves it to its students to find their own means of participating in local culture. |

How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
I have not had any experiences with health care but staff workers are willing to help out in the case of a health emergency. |
| * Safety: |
Overall, I feel safe in Heidelberg. However, we were notified that a week before coming to our living arrangement, that a hobo entered the building. They could never find the hobo. Also people tend to bring other people home after a night out. |
