I learned so much about myself through studying abroad. Living on my own in a foreign country was an adventure in itself, let alone traveling by myself and then immersing myself into a new culture. It's hard to put into words, but I grew so much as a person and have a whole new perspective on life and culture.

I loved the classes I took at Trinity. The professors were great and were very enthusiastic about the material. They were excited to have international students in their class as well. |

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
Wonderful! My apartment was a great location just outside of city centre. Not too loud, but not too far away from all the action either. I was living on Adelaid Road in the Iveagh Court apartments. <br /><br /> Very safe location and perfect for walking to campus. About a 20 minute walk. |

I went shopping at Tesco or Dunnes stores. I think Dunnes was less expensive and it was closer to my apartment. |

How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
Pubs were great! Definitely explore the city. I loved the atmosphere- lots of fun markets on the weekends- especially Temple Bar market. Christmas time in Dublin was beautiful, too! |

| Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | I spent about 25 euro on groceries per week. And I also would go out to eat a few times which would be about 10 euro a meal. |
| Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Don't be stingy! It's a once and a lifetime opportunity! Go to museums and exhibitions even if it does cost money- it's worth it. And enjoy the food! |

A Look Back
| * What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | Get to love walking. It's expensive, but worth every penny. Be outgoing and discover new places. Travel within Ireland, especialy to the West Coast in Galway. It's beautiful. |
