Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

This program was not very academically challenging but it was creatively very intense. I was working much harder and longer on these projects than anything I've worked on previously.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Columbia College Chicago, which hosts the program, is large and inefficient. I had several hiccups along the way, from applying right up to the end. Be very cautious and double check everything when working with them.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

No housing was provided (nor any information given) but the apartment I found on Craigslist was very nice!

* Food:

No food was provided but I made food for myself!

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

I had no health concerns

* Safety:

I had no safety concerns.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? 100
