What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned so much from living in Greece. I immersed myself in the local culture, traveled around Greece, and even hiked up Mount Olympus. I had a fantastic time.

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The classes were very interesting and the professors were so welcoming and helpful. With on-site classes that take you into the museums and archaeological sites, you truly have a hands-on experience.

The faculty and staff are incredible. They will help you out with anything you need. They are always accessible, and they work around the clock to provide us with the best possible experience.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

The apartments were spacious and within walking distance of all the major attractions in Athens.

* Food:

The food was delicious. Chef Meni prepared us incredible lunches every day and introduced us to classic Greek dishes. Definitely check out the tavernas and local cafes for a taste of Greece!

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Everyone I met in Greece was so kind, and I loved learning about the local culture.

  • We were a smaller group, so there weren't as many class options as usual during my semester.
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I gained a greater sense of independence and perspective of different cultures.
