How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

My host mother was very welcoming upon my arrival. She made me feel comfortable and at-home. At first, the language barrier was a bit of a challenge, but by the end of the semester, I can say that I learned quite a lot just from my host family alone.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

ICS was extremely welcoming and is like a big family. Definitely would recommend this program.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Definitely budget out your money wisely. Try not to spend much miney on food and take advantage of the home cooked meals made by your host family.

In the language class, English was not spoken at all. I really benefitted from that because it assisted me in learning a new language.

Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? Take what you learn in class and apply it at home. Little conversations wach day with your host family will really improve your speaking.
