About

The CCIS program at the University of Canterbury, a medium-sized university where students can choose from 38 disciplines in seven departments, offers visiting CCIS students many course opportunities, including some that are unique to New Zealand in several subject areas. The seven departments of the university include Arts, Science, Law, Engineering, Business, Forestry, Music and Fine Arts. Canterbury also offers distinctly New Zealand subjects such as Maori language and culture and Pacific Studies. Situated between the mountains and the sea, Christchurch is known as the Garden City of New Zealand.
