What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Cento percento! My abroad experience was one of the best things that ever happened to me, and if I could I'd be there doing it all over again right now.

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The workload was much less than I was used to, and there were only a few assignments that determined my grade.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

When I needed help whether it was homework, travel or advice, I knew that I could go to the staff in Perugia.

* Food:

I will never be able to eat pizza in the States again.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

Le scale. The steps are the focal social area in town and were definitely one of my favorite locations.

* Health Care:

* Safety:

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

* Did your program have a foreign language component? Yes
If applicable, to what degree did your living situation aid your language acquisition?

Language acquisition improvement?

A lot of people spoke English but I still managed to practice on a regular basis due to the fact that most Italians did not speak English.
