It was worthwhile in the sense that I will never go into a program without knowing who I am living with.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Since the program did not provide meal plans it was very difficult trying to stick to a budget since I had to buy groceries and make sure I was buying every day items such as dish soap ect.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? about 300 euro
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? buy a bus pass, it was the easiest way to get around and not have to pay for taxis
