Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

These classes were very intense, in a small setting but taught by the best professors I've had during any of my time in college. You get close with people in your classes, which makes discussion and studying more fun.

On-site administration of your program

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

It's good, but gets very repetitive. You have pasta, bread, a meat and fruit for every lunch and dinner. Breakfast was cereal and pastries with coffee. You're at a boarding school, so it's what those students are given for meals.

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Since there are so many American students there we mostly hung out with each other and didn't interact a whole lot with the people of the town. However, we would when we would go out to eat, drink or buy things at the store. More interaction with locals happened when we traveled during the travel breaks.

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

I had strep throat while I was there and was adequately taken care of. My friend broke her ankle and they helped her through the process as well.

Paderno del Grappa is a town of 2,000 and we go to a gated school. It's about as safe as you can get abroad.

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

It depended on the week. Travel breaks you spent a ton of money because you're traveling for a week straight. But when you were on campus it was only if you wanted to buy a drink or food off campus so you saved a lot those weeks.
