What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I was an incredible experience. I learned a lot about myself, through making new friends and trying new things. I was also able to improve my language skills, which was one of my goals. I would recommend studying abroad to everyone, it was an eye-opening experience that has changed my life for the better!

Tokyo is a very expensive city, particularly since with the current exchange rate from dollars to yen. However, the program gave me a realistic expectation of how much I would probably spend so that was very helpful.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? You can save more by just being more aware and keeping track of how much you're spending, which I didn't really do.

Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? Don't be afraid to talk to locals! Even if you mess up, they will generally be very nice about it, and that's the best way to improve!
