Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The educational experience was great. The classes were all in spanish and so the content was easier but i still feel like i learned alot.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

They were easy to get in contact with and were helpful with anything else you needed

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

my apartment was very safe however the bathroom was abysmal. i thought it would be nice if the residencia students were given a stipend for food because the cafeteria was open only certain hours

* Food:

the residencia food was terrible. They also refused to give seconds to students who asked or to mix other food options

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

The carboneria and flamenco clubs were very cool. The excursions to morocco, and granada were great

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

I was pickpocketed the first week but afterwards it was fine

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Language

* Did your program have a foreign language component? Yes
If applicable, to what degree did your living situation aid your language acquisition?

Language acquisition improvement?

Not many people spoke English in Sevilla so you could practice with anyone. Yes you needed to speak the host language to get by and if you didnt know spanish it would be difficult to get around. However the practice you get is worth it
