What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned a lot about myself and how I interact with others. I also learned critical things about film production and technology that will be invaluable in my developing career in that field.

My classes expected a lot of me but because I found interest in the subjects I was able to stay on task.

My flatmates were a huge mess in the kitchen!

Expensive. But good.

More with the international group than the Australian group.

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

Pretty easily accessible. Billing is always complicated.

Nothing a New Yorker can't handle.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Bring lots. And don't eat out so much so you have enough for gifts. Maybe buy your gifts early.

The Networker
An active student leader, it was important for you to network abroad as well. Once overseas, you sought out student clubs, volunteered with local organizations, or attended community events. You encouraged your friends join you, and often considered how you could reflect your international experiences in a resume.
