I got to learn about a wonderful, very different culture. It was definitely worth it. Everyone should go to Africa :)

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish I would have known how safe I would be before I left. I struggled a lot with fearing that I wasn't safe but when I was there I didn't feel threatened.
