Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

overall the program was run pretty well. There were a few things that didn't make a lot of sense like we were required to take 15 credits to be a full time student and they did not cater the program classes very well to american students, for instance the teachers taught us as if we were locals and understood the expectations they had. I think the administration needed to instruct the teachers to make their expectations clearer.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

I loved my host family and the apartment i was in was very nice.

* Food:

the food was delicious.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

we went on a few trips but if i wanted to meet locals and get to know people it was my responsibility.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

there were only a couple areas that i felt insecure but i took all the precautions they told us to take in orientation and I am a big guy.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? after i put myself on a budget i spent $50 a week
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? make a budget, I was very close to running out of money.
