What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Something about Analects We together had a really fantastic time. Analects seems familiar to us, but its spirit deep inside simple words is hard. Besides, what is the true meaning, what we thought is credible or incredible, a large amount of questions piled up in our young minds. Holding a paperback Analects , Mr. Wang slowly and severely interpret the Analects line by line, word by word. Through the convention, Mr. Wang set up several examples using affairs in his live, to interpret the Confucius’minds and concepts in the Analects. Comment:Thousands of years ago, Confucius left some words which are still worth to learn by modern people. Family loyalty, ancestor worship, respect of elders by their children should also be advocated today. Something about supper We youngs did some preparations for the supper. I actually make things even worse. ((__)Why do cutting potatoes is so hard for me) But thanks everything, we finally get something to eat. Comment:Eating things done by ourself is tasty. Something about memorial ceremonies of Confucius August 27, Chinese Calendar. After folding paper sycees, drawing Kylins, writing down everyone’s wishes, we dressed up in Hanfu, Hanfu is difficult to wear, for we youngs it is too long and limited. We sat down, cross our legs, Then, we bend down our knees before the portrait of Confucius, holding incense in our hands, appreciating the Confucius. Comment:Smell of incense, sounds of chanting, reflecting deeply in our hearts. In a trance, Confucius slowly wandering from the ancient times, whispering his disciples just by our side.
