Best semester/experiences of my life. I feel more confident and i know more about the world and myself than i could have ever learned in a classroom

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

I was only able to take three classes and they were all fairly easy. Also the classes I took in English had issues with translations during tests making questions way more difficult than the material shouldve been

A small apartment in Madrid. <br /><br /> My apartment was very small. I lived with a single host grandmother. I was treated very well

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? I paid my host mom and she provided food. 27 euro a day for breakfast lunch dinner and a place to stay
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Dont go crazy the first week with your money. Save it and get comfortable first

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? Students who arent afraid to be taken out of their comfort zone will have a blast

Comments: The teacher knew his material very well and was able to convey that to the class without problems despite not being a native english speaker. The final exam was a little tricky though

Comments: We had a test every week worth 5 questions and the english on the test made the question very ambiguous. The teacher also was not very friendly with some of the students

Comments: The class was easy even though it was in spanish. There was very little material to be learned. Having to give a presentation in spanish was intimidating though
