* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Although it is a bit of a far walk to get to, the Chateau is worth it and it is an amazing place.

* Food:

I look forward to the breakfast at the Chateau every morning. The food is excellent and fresh every day.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

I never felt unsafe while in Strasbourg. However, I always tried to stay with a group of people.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

I am used to living on a student budget at home, so I had no problems here.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Take out a set amount of cash at the beginning of each week, and only spend that amount of money per week. If you run out, you run out. This will help you manage your money more effectively and keep track of how much you are spending. It also ensures that you won't need to use your debit or credit card in questionable areas or shops.

0 = No encouragement, 5 = frequent encouragement to use the language

Individual Course Reviews

Course Name/Rating:

Experiential Learning Seminar

Course Department: CEPA
Instructor: Glebe Wolfgang
Instruction Language: English
Comments: The teacher was wonderful and well prepared. He was very enthusiastic and encouraged us to learn. Assessments consisted of interactive discussions, which I preferred. I was unable to participate as much as I wanted to because it met on nights where I was slammed with other assignments from the University of Strasbourg.
Credit Transfer Issues: None so far
