Without a doubt. Opened up my eyes/mind to the central american culture/life-style at the same time enjoying one of the most beautiful countries in the world.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? There were none. It is obviously cheaper than the u.s. If you're on a budget, don't stay in the tourist areas and don't eat out all the time.
