Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

I am so glad I chose to study abroad with CEA! I had the opportunity to take my French class at Sorbonne University where I was in class with students from all around the world. At CEA, half of my class were on location somewhere in Paris! Many of them showing me areas I may have not adventured to otherwise! The have organized trips that are included with the program, I got to visit Honfleur, Loire Valley, Strasbourg, the Black Forest, and Fontainebleu (they change per semester but I am sure they are always awesome!). I also was able to attend a ballet at Palais Granier and the qualifying game of the French National Team for the World Cup. They often have tastings at the center where you can try out local food between classes. (I learned I love fig jam & wouldn't have known this otherwise). They offer many walking tours through out the city (I went on them all and really enjoyed them!) I was only able to do a semester, but I really wish I was able to stay the whole year! I highly recommend CEA!

History of Paris: An Architectural Perspective

Course Department:
Instructor: Linnea Tilly
Instruction Language: English
Comments: I absolutely loved this class! It was everything I was looking for in a study abroad class. Once a week we went to the location to see first hand what we were studying. I learned so much about the history of Paris and the important sites throughout the city. Professor Tilly is such a joy, she is so knowledgable and can answer any question (really!) I couldn't recommend this class enough
