Spain was my favorite place to stay at out of the 7 countries I visited while abroad

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Was in a building with other students from different programs, was really fun and safe

* Food:

The paella isn't as good as I thought and water is never free

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

AMAZING!! CLUBS OPEN AT 12 AND CLOSE AT 6AM ! You can meet a lot of new people and other abroad kids.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

CAPA offers their own doctors locally at a discounted price. They refund you the money at the end of the program. didnt need any vaccines

* Safety:

Keep your belongings close. Try not to carry cash unless you are taking a taxi. Always walk in groups and only take the yellow taxis.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Classes were easy, professors were amazing, the staff made the trip all worth it and the tapas were awesome.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Try to cook as much as possible. Breakfast is cheap and dinner is as well. 100 dollars a week is good.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Take the metro whenever you get the chance. Save money and be safer .
