What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
It was so worthwhile, I learned the importance of seeing. And seeing in the way of not just watching my surroundings but attentively searching for details and the reasons behind why things exist around me in the way that they do. I have a new set of eyes.

The fine arts program through CEA was absolutely incredible. I learned immensely from my professors, my friends and the locals. I discovered so much about myself and the world around me that I think I view the world in a much more positive and hopeful way.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? Aix-en-Provence is a little bit on the expensive side. Budgeting is still possible, however the cost of living is more than I anticipated.
