This trip was phenomenal! I learned so much and was able to further advance my love for photography. Now I have the skill set to take photos on every adventure!

We stayed in hostels and met some amazing people from all over the world!

Food was a little weird at first but very good!

The people are so friendly and I felt at home in their country

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

Not once did I feel unsafe walking the streets alone. I do recommend having a buddy around just in case!

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

This is the opportunity of a lifetime and you should take as many chances like these as you can get.

Bring more than you than you think you need, Iceland can be expensive and there are lots of cool things to buy!

  • Honestly, nothing
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish I would have not been as scared to go over there alone, it was amazing and I love to travel alone now; it gives you the opportunity to meet lots of new people and not be subjected to a travel partner.

The Avid Adventurer
The wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal.
