A life-changing experience where I was the captain of my own adventure! Past Review

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
It was absolutely worthwhile! I learned that the world, as big as it is, is really smaller than we think. We are all connected by common feelings and emotions and no matter how different we may be, we can always connect. I will never think of places as distant and remote anymore, because behind the name of a country you hear on the news there are individuals just like me.
