Brigham Young University: Traveling - China Life Science Study Abroad

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I really felt that we got a good mix of being in the culture and being able to be tourist and see a lot of places. We lived in dorms for a month in Shanghai and I really got a feel for college life in China and I was able to see a part of their culture that I would have never seen.

The Avid Adventurer
The wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal.
