What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
It was definitely worthwhile. Seeing and experiencing the inside of the great Chinese culture. China is an old civilization with plenty of history and in the same time it becomes so modern and grows economically everyday. Very interesting place to be ! INTO China program has given me a lifetime experience, which I will remember forever. I met good friends, learned new language and visited amazing country. Would recommend to everyone!

It was very easy to live on the student's budget in China. Prices are very low.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? When eating out try some local restaurants, instead of the those in the Western areas. You could get great value for money deals.

the program encouraged me to use the Chinese language in everyday situations such as ordering food, drinks, bargain at shops, and also to talk to Chinese friends.

Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? Don't be afraid! Speaking Chinese is a real fun and local people appreciate when you using their language.
