This is your chance to explore the unique way of life in Cuba and the vibrant city of Havana, with its eclectic mix of Latin, European and American cultures. Your studies will involve a deep immersion into student life in Cuba, studying in Spanish and with other Cuban students at our academic partner, the prestigious University of Havana. Our Resident Director in Havana will be on-hand to help you every step of the way and you will live and study in the vibrant Vedado neighborhood of central Havana close to the university, cafes, music venues and local student hangouts.

As the largest university in Cuba and one of the most renowned universities in the Caribbean and Central America, the University of Havana offers a unique and exciting learning experience. Direct-enrollment courses are available in a variety of departments at University of Havana. Particular areas of academic strength are: politics, Afro-Caribbean studies, music, literature, philosophy, sociology, history, biology and international relations.

Arcadia Scholarships

Arcadia aims to help students for whom financial assistance can mean the difference between participating on an Arcadia program and staying home. Arcadia scholarships are awarded to eligible applicants based on need. Approximately 70% of study abroad students who apply for aid from Arcadia receive some form of award

$250-$2,500

Deadlines:
Applications are received on a rolling basis.

Guidelines/Requirements:
Only students who have been accepted to a program from Arcadia Abroad will be considered for an award.
