Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The workload was relatively easy however there was a lot of group work for my business classes and it was often difficult to meet in groups or be on the same page for certain projects. Overall I felt the reduced workload gave me more time to experience the country and travel.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Housing was excellent. Great location and apartment filled with Americans. heavy security and noise violations and fees though.

* Food:

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Favorite API events include cooking lessons (Florence) and thermal baths (Tuscany). Also, I really enjoyed the wine and food tastings.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

Safe if traveled in groups and always Taxis available.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Flights and trains are pretty expensive and include a lot of hidden fees and taxes. Also, even though many things for apartment provided, still needed to buy more.
