Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Arabic was incredibly intensive (in the best way)! I learned more than I could have imagined in 5 months at AUB.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

* Food:

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

* Health Care:

* Safety:

Although my time in Beirut fell into a generally less safe period of revolution, I personally did not once feel my safety was at risk. Befriend a few Lebanese people and enjoy the city, the mountains, the sea, and everything in between.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

I would like to move to Beirut permanently. The program has moved me so much; from the people, to the food and culture, to the sights (and clubs), Beirut is the place to be.

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? 100?
