Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The workload was manageable and allowed a lot of time to experience Ireland

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

The program director, Colum Cronin, was always around and very helpful with advice about where to travel to and where to get good food.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Our apartment was right in downtown Dublin so we were close to everything. We were one street away from the major shopping street. We were close to the museums, the bars/clubs, and a great local park.

* Food:

We had a kitchen in our apartment and the grocery store was only 5 mins away

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

My roommates and I did so much traveling on the weekends. We were able to do a three day tour of southern Ireland, a couple day trips, and some of the girls went to Scotland and Whales. We also went to a Irish Football game which was a lot of fun.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

Ireland as a whole is a very safe country. Everyone I met was very nice and very helpful.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Don't forget about the exchange rate costs. Even though you are paying with your credit card, you still have to pay exchange rate costs.

If applicable, to what degree did your living situation aid your language acquisition?
