Studying abroad is the best thing you could ever do. It makes you more of an open-minded independent individual.

Personal Information

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

It was incredibly easy, however the teachers would talk on and on for hours about nothing that we were even learning about. It was very relaxed. I felt like I didn't do anything. Class was a joke.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

I thought that our coordinator was perfect. She wasn't overly involved in our lives and yet she also was also there if you needed her. It was a small program so you get to know everyone that is there through it.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

We got our own rooms and bathrooms. The neighborhood was a little on the sketchy side (two friends were mugged a block away) but it is right next to a beautiful park and its not too far of a walk to class and nightlife.

* Food:

We made most of our own food in the dorms to save money.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

We went out to dinner as a group, but that was about it.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

It is a fairly safe city. You just have to be smart. Health care is definitely available.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Language

If applicable, to what degree did your living situation aid your language acquisition?

Direct Enrollment/Exchange

* Did you study abroad through an exchange program or did you directly enroll in the foreign university? Exchange
