What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Absolutely. I understand the culture of Austria a whole lot more, and I feel like it changed me in a good, no great way!

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Workload was great, grading was fair, teaching methods were good, though I wish there could have been more instruction in German.

I LOVE Austrian food. I miss it every day.

It was great to have Andreas take us on cultural excursions, especially when they were just little added extras.

Host family, though most people spoke English (especially people who were in the program), so it was hard to practice.

A Look Back

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? Anyone and everyone should go. Salzburg became my favorite place in the world after just one day. The program helped me to develop as a student and also as a global citizen.
