What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Being able to backpack around Europe and travel around most of Ireland was a very worthwhile experience. Going abroad helped me improve many skills necessary for a successful future such as budgeting and time management.

Being able to travel around London for two days before going to Ireland was not only an amazing experience but also a great way to meet other students in the AIFS program.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? Around $150-$200
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Buy food in bulk at cheap grocery stores and set a limit to how much you spend at a pub so you don't spend to much at once. Also, don't forget about the exchange rate. What ever amount your spending is automatically going to be more in dollars.

The wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal.
