What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned a lot about myself as a person, not just as a student. I gained insight into other cultures and therefore was able to better understand the world around me. It was definitely worthwhile. I cannot begin to imagine if I had chosen a different program.

| Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Don't spend too much money too fast because then halfway into your trip you'll realize you have to hold back on doing things because you didn't budget well enough in the beginning. |

| Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? | Just try to listen to it for about 30 minutes per day before you leave, it could greatly improve your comprehension skills before you get there. |

| * What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | Nothing. Everything I didn't know prior to this program was just another life lesson that I was able to obtain while I was there. The classes I took were in French and if I'd known that before I went I'm not sure I'd be ok with it. But being thrown into that sort of thing really changed me as a student academically. And everything I didn't know about money and about culture before I left was just another step in my growing up process and they were just a few more things that helped me grow while I was there. |
