Parts of European history that history classes in America dont go in depth on. It was very interesting

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Classes were interesting. Professors were great and spoke good english

Had tons of planned events throughout the city that were very fun

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

The apartments were amazing. Tons of space, great beds, clean bathrooms, kitchen with appliances and cookware ready.

* Food:

Theres so many different foods in berlinger so theres always something for everybody

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Most people spoke english but not speaking german made me feel a little less integrated. Not a big deal though

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

I had no health problems but one of my friends was able to see a dentist same day for an issue she had

* Safety:

Berlin felt very safe, even when out late at night

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

City was great, classes were great, people were great. Why would I not do it again

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

I saved up so I could have plenty of spending money but you could definately make it work on a student budget

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Use any given university meal program to cover lots of food espenses
