What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I am pleased to say that Adelante has provided me with the most amazing experience. I was the lucky scholarship winner of a three month internship in Barcelona. Not only are my horizons considerably widened I've also gained some much needed international experience. My photography and writing portfolio is pretty impressive - even if I have to say so myself. Apart from that I've also made some amazing new friends.

  • Learning a new language.

* What could be improved?
  • More communication/ regular updates from the Adelante contact in Barcelona.
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish I'd started learning Spanish sooner. I would have been able to understand more.
