Trinity University
University Information
The Study Abroad program at Trinity University is designed to be accessible and flexible. With proper planning, students from every major can study abroad productively in many different countries around the world as a part of their degree.
This is possible because Trinity's program is based on individually advising each student so that the term abroad becomes an integral part of the degree that meets academic, personal, and professional goals. As a result Trinity students participate in a wide variety of academic experiences abroad from studying in a foreign university classroom to academic internships to intensive language study to field studies - or a some combination of these things.

"I learned a lot about myself and how I handle different situations in very different places. I would probably go with a program more oriented towards what I was looking for but overall my trip to China was awesome and I would definitely do it again...just a little different. "

"My experience was definitely comprehensively worthwhile. I got to meet many amazing people, and got to live truly independently for the first time. I explored and adventured, and grew up a lot. But there were components of my program that really weren't worthwhile. Most of the academics were boring and pointless, yet took up eno..."

"I think I learned a lot about people from my experience abroad. Initially I was very hopeful that I would make lots of friends abroad, but found that not to be the case. The majority of the student body was very forgettable and uninteresting and only interested in partying in Europe, and so I didn't gell with a lot of students, ..."

Matthew M Trinity University
"Expanded my general understanding of what life is like for other humans. European history is too often told through an American point of view, or a British point of view. It was refreshing to see a different side of the story. I feel like my image of Central Europe was a shallow stereotype and now it is not-so-shallow"

"I would highly recommend this program to someone interested in studying abroad with the goal of immersing yourself in Spanish language and culture. The classes (which includes any homework and projects, exams, etc.) are all in Spanish, and you have a couple of choices for living options which is sometimes hard to find in other p..."

"The experience of being in India was incredibly worthwhile and amazing. However, choosing to go with a more put together program would have made my experience in Pune infinitely better and much less frustrating. The internship component was very rewarding and educational. However, the internship began late in the program and las..."

"I learned so much from this experience that it is difficult to put into words. While it was extremely challenging and frustrating at times, it was 100% worthwhile and I would recommend a study abroad experience to anyone that is able to do so. I learned that while I am extremely blessed with my life in America, I do not need as ..."

"Living in Perugia, I gained a lot of appreciation for the Italian culture. I learned a lot about myself and how I interact with novel experiences. It was definitely challenging learning how to live in a culture that you are very unfamiliar with. But ultimately, living in a new culture made me look at my own culture in a very dif..."
