WISC / Washington International Studies Councilhttp://www.wiscabroad.com/why-wisc.html
WISC has made it possible for qualified students (with a GPA of 3.2 or higher after two years of university) to study in Oxford for one, two or three terms as an Associate Member of one of several Oxford colleges. Five educational tours per term are included.
Students, if they wish, may receive a transcript from an accredited US university, The University of the Pacific in California, with which WISC is associated.
Students may have Associate Member status at Trinity College (founded in 1554), at Christ Church (1546) or at New College (1379). The first`two colleges require higher GPAs. All four of these distinguished colleges (see below) generally rank in the top 25% of the Oxford Colleges Academic League Tables.
Students with GPA's of 3.7 or higher may apply for Visiting Student status which includes full university privileges at one of two Medieval colleges - New College (1379) and Magdalen College (1458). Magdalen requires a minimum GPA of 3.6 (the fees are substantially higher). The Oxford College always makes the admissions decision.
