"I feel I became a much more mature and independent person from the experience. I walked away with a lot of fun memories and an appreciation for the "Berlin life style" if you can claim that such a thing even exists. Going to Berlin was definitely one of the best decisions I've made, and I'd like to go back again one day. "
A student Austin College

"I learned a lot of German, got more confident when speaking and gained a lot of knowledge about German life and culture - which is exactly what I wanted to gain from the program. However, one of the best things about this program were all the people I met. We were about 40 Americans, from all over the US, and at the end we were ..."

"I gained a broader sense of self and the confidence that I can overcome any obstacle. I have truly grown as a person and feel like I'm now ready for the real world, whereas before study abroad I relied a lot on my friends and family."

Also some direction for my life post graduation realizing that there are many more possibilities than I originally believed ie travel, living abroad, peace corps etc. (not just obtaining a corporate job)."

"I grew up so much during my time abroad. I learned how to manage my money, live on my own, use public transportation efficiently, and overall take care of myself. More than that, I grew up emotionally. I discovered what and who in my life is the most important, and what things matter more than others. By the end of the trip, I f..."
