About

The William & Mary summer program in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, runs nearly six weeks and includes an orientation, classes and excursions. Students will take courses at Charles University taught by local faculty, and/or Professor Raphael’s RELG 309, The Holocaust in Czechoslavakia. (This course also fulfills the GER 7 requirement).  All students are required to take Conversational Czech, a 1-credit course, though there is no language prerequisite for this program. Students earn a total of 7 credits while in Prague, all of which are reflected as grades on students’ W&M transcripts and are included in GPA calculations.
