What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
It was definitely worthwhile. I grew to feel much more confident in myself and the way I handle myself in the world. I also made some fantastic friendships with the students on my program. Even though I didn't meet as many Spaniards as I would have liked, it was still a fun experience and I feel that my Spanish definitely improved because of it.
